About You I love truth, and that means I love to read my Bible and learn more and more of who God is. He is the Living Truth and only in Him is true LIFE. I also love Christian Philosophy, sound thinking done by those few philosophers who really know the Lord. My favorite philosophical writers are Francis Schaeffer and William Craig. My favorite preachers (for now) are Paul Washer and Carter Conlon and favorite music is that by Paul Wilbur. Oh, and I love Israel, because I know deep inside how the Lord loves Israel--no other reason, but that is more than enough for me. :)
How you came to know Jesus Christ From a very young age I sought for truth and the meaning of life. I felt I could not live without answers and therefore after high school went to university to study Philosophy. This study gave many answers but I knew deep inside they were false. I then switched to Psychology and found its answers even more deceptive. During that time the Lord brought a man on my path who told me the gospel. I debated and resisted for a long time, but finally could no longer resist the Living Truth of Christ. Thank God!! Jesus Christ became my Lord and I still follow and serve Him with great joy every day of my life. I feel like the farmer who found the treasure in the field and sold all he had to obtain that treasure. I have taught Philosophy and Psychology in a Christian college for many years, but I found that even in those places there is much too much worship of man-made knowledge rather than true surrender to Christ. The Lord has now called me out to full-time ministry, preaching and teaching the Living Truth and exposing the lies that are based on the wrong thinking of secular Philosophy and Psychology. I love the life that God gives those who follow Him and I live to glorify His name!
What do you like to do in your free time? I give leadership to the Outreach Teams on InChrist. I know that spreading the gospel is the very core of the heart of Christ. This is why He came, and this is what He puts in the heart of his true followers. Those who share the gospel do not only bring the greatest blessing to others, but they themselves also grow and are blessed in their walk with Jesus. I took this task not knowing that it would involve ALL of my free time, but I love to serve Him in this way!
